Beschrijving

Een verwrongen geest bedenkt een sadistisch plan!

Een Franse officier in de Napolistische oorlog [Jack Nicholson] is zijn regiment kwijt .

Hij zwerft langs de kust en bezwijkt bijna aan uitputting en dorst .

Hij wordt gered door de mysterieuze en beeldschone Helena die echter net zo snel weer verdwijnt .

Later die nacht arriveert Andre bij het vervallen kasteel van Baron von Leppe [Boris Karloff] waar hij een schilderij van Helena ziet .Maar de oude baron verzekert hem dat het een schilderij is van zijn echtgenote Ilsa die 20 jaar eerder overleed….

The Terror is een sfeervolle horrorfilm van Roger Corman. Naast grootheden als Jack Nicholson en Boris Karloff werkten beroemde regisseurs als Peter Bogdanovich en Francis Ford Coppola aan de Film mee.
