Erik Hazelhoff Roelfzema is een icoon. Tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog groeit hij uit tot de verzetsheld van Nederland. Vanuit Engeland waar hij in direct contact staat met Koningin Wilhelmina worden zijn gewaagde acties gepland. Zijn onderscheidingen zijn er teveel om op te noemen.
