Beschrijving

Op een winterdag krijgen kabouter Plop en zijn vrienden vreemd bezoek in de melkherberg. Is het een olifant ? Een giraf ? Of een verdwaalde ijsbeer ? Als Snorre de Poolkabouter aanklopt bij de kabouters wordt al snel duidelijk met welk vreemd dier ze hier te maken hebben. Het is een pinguïn! Pinki de Pinguïn werd ontvoerd op de Zuidpool door twee handlangers van Louise Appelboom, eigenares van Restaurant De Gouden Pollepel. Zij heeft pinguïns nodig voor haar exclusieve pinguïnsoep. Gelukkig kon Pinki ontsnappen, maar Louise wil na de mislukte vangst van haar handlangers terug naar de Zuidpool om er zoveel mogelijk pinguïns te halen. Na het horen van dit verhaal besluiten Plop en zijn vrienden om Snorre en Pinki te helpen. Plop, Klus, Kwebbel en Lui bundelen hun kabouterkrachten en vertrekken naar de Zuidpool. Zal het hen lukken om alle pinguïns te redden van de ondergang ?
