Beschrijving

Eye in the Sky is een spannende dramafilm waarin kolonel Katherine Powell (Helen Mirren) een geheime actie leidt die terroristen in Kenia moet ontmaskeren. Ze maken hiervoor gebruik van drones; the eyes in the sky. Maar wanneer het team beelden krijgt van een gevaarlijkere situatie dan ze ooit gedroomd hadden, is het tijd om het plan over boord te gooien. De levens van honderden burgers staan op het spel. Gevangen in een web van morele en ethische kwesties, moeten er gevaarlijke beslissingen worden gemaakt.

In de hoofdrollen onder anderen Helen Mirren, Aaron Paul en de onlangs overleden Alan Rickman. Regie is in handen van Gavin Hood (Tsotsi, Rendition) en acteur Colin Firth is betrokken als producent.
