Beschrijving

Brothers of the Head vertelt het bizarre verhaal van de Siamese tweeling Tom en Barry Howe. Ze ontsnappen aan een marginaal leven als ze door een muziekimpresario onder de hoede worden genomen om ze als de nieuwste sensationele punk rockband te exploiteren. Tom en Barry omhelzen hun afwijking en groeien uit tot rocksterren. De jongens worden boegbeelden van de punkscene in de jaren zeventig. Hun relatie neemt echter destructieve vormen aan als onmogelijke liefdes en artistieke rivaliteit de duistere kanten van hun bestaan bloot leggen.

Brothers of the Head is het speelfilmdebuut van Keith Fulton en Louis Pepe die indruk maakten met hun opmerkelijke documentaires over Terry Gilliam (waaronder Lost in La Macha).
