Beschrijving

Disney Pixar’s ‘Brave’ vertelt het heldhaftige verhaal van Merida, een geoefende boogschutter en de impulsieve dochter van koning Fergus en koningin Elinor. Merida is vastbesloten om haar eigen levenspad te vormen en trotseert een eeuwenoud gebruik dat heilig is voor de bandeloze en luidruchtige heren van het land: de enorme heer MacGuffin, de norse heer Macintosh en de humeurige heer Dingwall.

Merida’s acties leiden onbedoeld tot chaos en woede in het koninkrijk. Als ze hulp zoekt bij een excentrieke wijze oude vrouw, wordt haar een noodlottige wens geschonken. Het gevaar dat daarop volgt dwingt Merida om haar heldhaftige kanten te verkennen (inclusief die van haar slimme en ondeugende broertjes) om zo een afschuwelijke vloek op te heffen voor het te laat is en te ontdekken wat ware moed is.
